Vibhūti Yoga · The Yoga of Divine Glories
Wherever any excellence appears, it is Bhagavan's glory — seeing this links the mind to him.
What is happening here?
Bhagavan is still not satisfied with what he has said; out of love for Arjuna he continues unasked. He says no one, not even the gods and great sages, knows his origin, since he is the source of them all, and that one who firmly accepts his vibhūti (glory) and yoga (power) gains unwavering devotion. To devotees absorbed in him he gives the buddhi-yoga by which they reach him. Moved by this grace, Arjuna praises him and asks how and in which forms he should think of him. Bhagavan then names his principal glories — Viṣṇu among the Ādityas, the sun among lights, the mind among the senses, Gaṅgā among rivers — and concludes that everything splendid comes from a spark of his power, and that he holds the entire universe with a single fraction of himself.
Why it comes hereयह अध्याय यहाँ क्यों
Bhagavan had resumed his heart's teaching in Chapter 9 and ended it with complete dedication to him, yet the wish to say more remained. Just as a devotee never tires of hearing about Bhagavan, Bhagavan never tires of speaking to his devotee — and since none but a devotee can hear his heart's secret, he begins Chapter 10 out of grace, unasked.

Verses to begin withमुख्य श्लोक
I am the source of all; from Me everything moves
God is the origin of everything and the power behind every activity; the wise who accept this worship Him alone with faith and love.
10.10To those who love Me constantly, I give the yoga of understanding
Devotees who stay ever united with God and worship Him with love are given, by God Himself, the evenness of mind by which they attain Him.
10.41Whatever is glorious comes from a spark of My splendour
Wherever you see power, beauty, strength or any excellence, know it as springing from a fraction of God's splendour — not as belonging to that thing.
10.42Why know so much? I hold the whole universe in one fraction of Myself
Instead of counting glories, look at God Himself: the entire universe rests in one fraction of Him — and He sits before Arjuna as his charioteer.
