What is Krishna saying?
Duryodhana, Duhshasana, Karna and others, who bear enmity toward Arjuna though he bears none toward them, know his strength well; still they will mock it, saying he stepped aside when the moment came, just to hurt him. Swamiji adds a sharp point: Arjuna will not be able to bear such insult and will leap into battle anyway, and then his earlier withdrawal will bring him even greater ridicule.

Examples Swamiji gives in the commentaryव्याख्यामें स्वामीजीके दृष्टान्तInsulted by the petty
When a person is insulted by petty people he cannot bear it, and he pushes himself beyond his strength until he is spent. Arjuna too would not bear his enemies' insults and would plunge into the war after all.
Krishna shows that avoiding duty does not even bring peace: one ends up acting anyway, only later and with more pain.
